Policy Dialogue on Accountability in Nutrition
Wednesday, 30 September 2020 ADD TO CALENDAR
4:00 PM To 6:00 PM
The COVID-19 pandemic has posed a setback to progress achieved in the nutrition sphere, with women and children bearing disproportionate consequences. Accountability in nutrition can be a useful tool at this time to improve the delivery of essential nutrition services. There has been a movement towards accountability for other government services; for example, social audits for the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS).
This session, co-hosted by the Accountability Initiative, IPE Global, and PULSE for Development, explores the application of accountability mechanisms to improve access and quality of nutrition services in India, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
