Here’s one experience narrated by a Block Development Officer in Rajasthan who has help set up check posts in the block so that people arriving from outside can be recognised, tested and transferred to quarantine centres. Hearing of this, many chose to travel through nearby forests. Facing hardships, as migrants turn back to their home states in greater numbers, the situation could prove far more challenging in lockdown 4.0 than before.
