In June 2020, Accountability Initiative published a study that provided an in-depth understanding of government school education financing in India. It analysed expenditures across eights States from Fiscal Year (FY) 2014-15 to FY 2017-18. In this factsheet, we capture key insights from the report along with updated information for FY 2020-21.
